What an incredible day at the AVA Amphitheater!

We are still buzzing with excitement after this past Saturday’s 20th Annual Tucson Tamal & Heritage Festival. For La Costa Mexican Food, this wasn’t just an event; it was a celebration of family, tradition, and the amazing community we have here in Tucson.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to support us. Whether you are a loyal customer who has been with us since we started in Corona de Tucson, or a new friend who just discovered our "red dough" tamales for the first time at Booth #57, we were thrilled to meet you.

A Taste of Mazatlán in High Demand

We are humbled to announce that thanks to your overwhelming support, we sold out of most of our stock!

It brings us so much joy to know that the flavors of Mazatlán—the legacy of my grandmother Costanza "La Costa" and my mother Ernestina—are finding their way onto so many tables. Seeing your reactions to our authentic Sinaloa-style recipes and having the chance to chat with you in person made all the hard work worth it.

We also want to send a huge thank you to Casino Del Sol for hosting such a spectacular event. The organization, the entertainment, and the atmosphere were top-notch. It was an honor to share the stage with other talented local artisans and to be part of the rich culinary heritage of the Southwest.

If you missed us this time, or if you’re already craving more, don’t worry! While the festival is over, our kitchen is still cooking.

We are already looking forward to next year's festival and can't wait to see everyone there again. Until then, we are back to accepting regular orders.
